Preliminary call for a one-day satellite conference on: Firms and Networks

Firms and networks of firms organised in industrial branches are obviously complex systems which have been studied in industrial economics, geographical economics, business, and management sciences. The complex system approaches, especially network formalisms, are well-adapted to the many questions that arise such as how firms emerge, what is the dynamics of their development, how industries are organised in firms networks, what are individual firms strategies in terms of connecting to other firms or competing on the market.
This one day session should attract specialists from different horizons, complex systems scientists as well as economists or management scientists.

Guido Caldarelli and Gérard Weisbuch

Giovanni Dosi and Mauro Gallegatti.
